Hello everyone and welcome to our blog on all things related related to Urban Sociology, and in particular to those who are busy studying Urban Sociology.
What is Urban Sociology? Basically sociology is the study of how humans interact and live with each other. Urban sociology then, is the study of how humans interact in cities. As an entry point we will attempt to examine culture as the most visible and problematic source for social integration. In other words, as a group we will address these basic questions: What is the historical and current relationship between human beings and the urban environment? What are the social aspects of this relationship?
